Materials play a crucial role in the overall impacts of a garment.

We believe that making garments better and longer lasting comes from using really good materials like extra-long staple fiber and high-quality dyes. Our objective is simple: reduce environmental impact by incorporating certified, recycled, organic, sustainably sourced materials, all while upholding our commitment to superior product quality.

GOOD EARTH COTTON®

Most of the cotton we use (over 60%!) is Australian Good Earth Cotton®. GEC is the world’s first climate-positive, traceable cotton program that place the health of soils at the center of conservation, protection & enhancement of natural systems. By proving additionality to the land and the raw fiber grown the GEC program is devoted to the improvement of planetary boundaries, rural livelihoods, and its communities.

SUPIMA® COTTON

SUPIMA® cotton is a superior type of cotton grown in the USA. It represents less than 1% of cotton grown in the world. What makes SUPIMA® unique to other cottons is the extra long staple fiber that gives the cotton its premium properties: Strength, Softness and Color retention, and is grown using state of the art technology to minimize natural resource inputs.
Mercerisation treatment on SUPIMA® cotton that we use on our T-shirt improves dye uptake and tear strength, reduces fabric shrinkage, and imparts a silk-like lustra.

ORGANIC COTTON

We use organic cotton in some of our products. Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment. Using organic cotton means cleaner and lower water usage, lower pesticide use, healthier soil, and a safer working environment for cotton farmers, compared to conventional cotton production. This cotton is certified by Organic Content Standard (OCS).

RECYCLED POLYESTER

Our recycled polyester yarns come from repurposed, post consumer plastic bottles and are certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Post-consumer plastic bottles are cleaned, sorted, and melted into pellets before being filtered and spun into renewed polyester threads that we use in products like French Terry Sweatshirt. We also use a highly traceable, lower impact, branded version of recycled polyester.

LYCRA®

LYCRA® fiber set the standard as the world’s best-known spandex fiber brand. Lightweight and nearly invisible, LYCRA® fiber became the active ingredient in our clothes and revolutionized the way we wore them. Whenever it’s used in fabrics, LYCRA® fiber transforms garments into better fitting, durable clothes that move with our bodies, delivering fit, shape and comfort that lasts, day after day, wash after wash, run after run.
